Balkan Beats is the drug, Robert Soko the pusher.
It is a life style; a feeling, and in last the two years from a small European truth has become a world-wide phenomenon.
From the Bosnia to they Brasi, Balkan Beats has created dependency. Robert Soko makes evenings to Berlin from 1993.  It has been the first one to coin the term Balkan Beats in order to try to define the various ones drafts of the Balkans: the bugles of the Serbian zingari, ska and the etno-rock. Balkan Beats reinterpreta the popular melodie with the addition of beat electronic stirred with drafts western. Till little time makes the phenomenon has been extended to the other cities of the world where the emigrating Balkans live. The delirious evenings of Balkan Beats go from Frankfurt to Vienna, from New York to Melbourne. The revolution on the track from dance to Russian mountain blows, to fanfare of the Balkans, punk gitano, elettro tzigana, hip hop Klezmer, balkan ragga! A thin encounter between tradition and modernity. Habituè to the Divan du Monde for apéros the Tziganes and the Nuits Tziganes all Stars, Dj Tagada sound in France and the world (Geneva, Brussels, Berlin, Barcelona, Vienna etc.). As a result of the encounter with its Berliner colleague Robert Soko, it has decided to create the Balkanbeats evenings to Paris. The energy that it gives off from its dj-set is born from the vibration of a rope of violino that it squeaks or from sudata and burning a bugle, played from an inspired and free musician to make to risuonare and palpitare our eardrums and our hearts.
